The Learning Pit Lesson Ideas
Our lesson ideas are designed to guide students through the Learning Pit. This ‘journey’ will encourage them to think deeply about a key concept; identify connections and contradictions; and build a more robust understanding that can be used in other contexts.
Each ‘lesson plan’ provides ideas and resources to run across multiple lessons and home learning tasks. They are designed to be adapted, contextualised, and selected from so don’t feel the need to follow them verbatim! As with all good pedagogy, start where your students are and then select the challenges and strategies most likely to connect to context and to deepen their learning.
